Hi! I'm Lindsey Meyer and worked in the lab as an undergraduate honors thesis student, majoring in Speech and Hearing Science with a minor in Educational Psychology. My honors thesis uses eye-tracking technology to investigate the cognitive processes of reading. Specifically when reading words, to what extent does recognition rely on phonology (sounds of a word) and orthography (letters of a word). Outside of the lab, I serve as a senator on the University of Iowa Student Government, the executive director of the Clothing Closet at Iowa, and I work as a tour guide. In my free time I love going on hikes, visiting coffee shops, and watching Iowa football.
