My name is Danielle Ernest and I am in my 2nd year as a M.A. SLP student here at the University of Iowa and and have the pleasure of being the president of our NSSLHA Chapter here on campus. Along with being on the voice team at Wendell Johnson Speech & Hearing Clinic, I am currently doing a mini outplacement with Dr. Scott Dailey at UIHC’s Cleft Clinic and SFCH’s pediatric inpatient units. Come January, I will be embarking on my first clinical outplacement in the Denver Public Schools in Colorado. After that, I will be completing a medical outplacement in a TBD location, but after graduation my goal is to work as a SLP in a children’s hospital.
