Hi! My name is Amisha Issur. I am an international student from Mauritius. I
am currently a senior here at the University of Iowa majoring in Psychology as well as minoring
in Biology on the Pre-Medical track. I aspire to become a psychiatrist in the future, which
motivated me to join this lab. I am deeply interested and fascinated with anything that has to do
with the brain and a special interest in neurons and mood disorders. In my free time, I love
volunteering at the animal shelter and spending time with animals in general and I also have a
deep passion for traveling and exploring new places!
