Hey! My name is Melanie Flores, and I am from the suburbs of Chicago. I am a third-year undergraduate student here at the University of Iowa majoring in Speech and Hearing Science and minoring in Latina/o/x Studies. I want to apply my bilingual skills in research to find ways to help bilingual kids and adults. I aspire to work in a clinical setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist, but I am not completely sure what I want to specialize in. In my free time, I love to travel, hang out with my friends, and make coffee.
