My name is Hailey Verdick and I worked in the lab as an undergrad honors student in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program at the University of Iowa. My honors thesis investigates semantic differences toddlers see in related objects.  In the future I plan to work as a speech-language pathologist in either a school or hospital setting. I love learning about both language and psychology, so the psycholinguistics lab is perfect for me. My favorite things include slow mornings with coffee and donuts, going on bike rides or hikes with my friends, and running outside.
