My name is Laken Parsons, and I graduated from the Speech-Language Pathology Master's program, writing a thesis  researching neural basis for speech. I am extremely fascinated by neurogenic disorders, the way the brain works, language acquisition, and speech processing. I am planning to pursue work as an educator or/and researcher. In my free hours (what free hours?), I spend time with my toddler and best friend, my son. I also love making art and playing saxophone.
